Horns For A Hundred Thousand

I’m not really big on ads on blogs. I understand that some people don’t use a free blog site to host their blogs and maybe the ad revenue helps some, but personally, I never click on any of the ads and I will never sell ad space in here.

But I was approached this morning by one of my readers who is helping with a charity event, and I was asked if I could please place an ad in my blog for the event. I was once part of the UT system too, although not in Austin, and the charities are good ones, so I agreed. You can see it on the side there of my blog, but I wanted to post bigger posters and copy and paste the notecard with all the event info. I’ll be dropping by during that weekend to check out the festivities and donate some money, and I hope you all take some time to do it too! πŸ™‚
